Remembrance Day

11811573_709480532530191_8355284388630158015_nThis Remembrance Day, I hope everyone takes a moment to pause and reflect on the men & women who have sacrificed their lives in order for us to live ours today. Most Canadians have at least one family member who proudly served in the Canadian military, and for me it was my Great-Great-Grandfather, John Kennedy, a solider in WW I.

My father has dedicated many years researching the life of John Kennedy, and has accumulated countless pictures, newspaper articles, war diaries and other historical memorabilia. He has created a Facebook Page, dedicated to John’s memory, which documents John’s experiences throughout the war through a historical, chronological timeline. He began this Page on July 29th, 2015, exactly 100 years from when John Kennedy enlisted on July 29th, 1915. If you would like to check out the Page for yourself, please click here.

Lest we forget
